FAQS
WHY NOT ORGANIC?
The USDA, which oversees the foods labeled as "Certified Organic", states quite clearly on its website about its role in organic, that "Our regulations do not address food safety or nutrition." Foods labeled "Certified Organic" must adhere to certain rules and regulations but aren't endowed with any particular nutritional or safety features.

This means your food may have been grown without certain pesticides but doesn't guarantee that your food will be nutritious or measure the availability of food and individuals' ability to access it.
Here at Laid-Back Farms, we believe that access to good nutritious food is
more important than having an "Organic" label.
WHAT IS GAP?
Good agricultural practice (GAP) is a system for agriculture, specifying procedures that must be implemented to create food for consumers or further processing that is safe and wholesome, using sustainable methods.
They are applied through sustainable agricultural methods, including economically and efficiently produce being sufficient (food security), safe (food safety), and making sure that the food is nutritious (food quality).
